About Us

L 137 Sports was founded by a passionate group of coaches who share a common vision: to create a lasting, positive impact in our community through sports. We believe in the power of athletics to inspire, teach, and empower young people, and we are dedicated to providing a safe and reliable space for local youth to train, develop their skills, and build confidence in their chosen sports. While our primary focus is on softball and baseball, our facility is open to teams and athletes from a variety of sports who are seeking a quality indoor practice venue.

Our journey began with a recognition of a critical need in Culpeper, VA—there was a distinct lack of indoor training facilities for youth athletes. Without access to a dedicated space for year-round practice, many young players were limited in their ability to improve and reach their full potential. Seeing this gap in the community, we decided to take action and create a space that would serve as a resource for youth athletes across the area. We wanted to ensure that every child, regardless of their background or sport, would have the opportunity to train, grow, and excel in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment.

Guided by our faith and the belief that “nothing is impossible with God,” as inspired by Luke 1:37, we’ve worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life. Our facility isn’t just a place to train; it’s a place where youth can build resilience, teamwork, and character, qualities that will serve them well both on and off the field. We are committed to not just developing athletes, but also helping to cultivate well-rounded individuals who will go on to make positive contributions to their communities.

We are incredibly grateful to New Salem Baptist Church for their support in helping us secure the space that has allowed L 137 Sports to come to fruition. Their partnership and generosity have played an instrumental role in making our dream a reality.
